Over 200 delegates now registered!!

BearingNet now has over 200 delegates signed up for the 2014 User Meeting in Riga and the team look forward to welcoming even more of you!!

The meeting is set to take place on the 9-11 October 2014 in the beautiful city of Riga, Latvia where there will be around 400 delegates from over 200 companies from all around the world.

The BearingNet User Meetings are the largest networking event in the world for bearing and power transmission distributors.

BearingNet Events Manager Nicola Beer says

“Online relationships can only go so far, doing business with people you have met in person helps to develop greater trust and long term connections”

This is why the User Meetings are a great way for members to meet face to face and make some great business deals whilst forming solid relationships.

Every year BearingNet holds a networking event for their members and this year have decided to head North to Riga, Latvia. Why Riga? Riga is the largest city of the Baltic States and this new location will draw in lots of new companies from Northern Europe, which means plenty of new business deals to be done. PLUS Riga was voted the prettiest European city 2014 according to USA Today!

The meeting is being held in the Radisson Blu Latvia. This year delegates are being given the choice of this hotel as well as two alternative Radisson hotels to stay in, all located in the city centre within a 5 minutes walk of each other, but offering different styles of accommodation!

The Radisson Blu Latvia (the event hotel) offers a sports bar, casino, night club, skyline bar and a fabulous spa for the times that you aren’t busy networking! This modern hotel is a defining landmark on Riga’s skyline close to historic attractions as well as shopping and bars.

The second option is the Radisson Blu Elizabete, an impressive modern glass building right in the centre of the city. This hotel allows you to see Riga and it’s attractions with ease, including the Freedom monument and the beautiful flower market.

Finally the third option is the Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotel which is a classic hotel close to Old Town of Riga. With a glass pyramid styled restaurant it is the perfect setting to sit back and enjoy the bar and cigar library, this would suit delegates looking for more of a quiet atmosphere.

Each of the hotels offer something different and interesting allowing delegates to feel comfortable and relaxed whilst at the User Meeting and visiting Riga.

Never been to a User Meeting? Then Riga is the perfect time to start! Having held 8 successful User Meetings BearingNet know what their members want and so plan the meetings around them!

The weekend starts with a Welcome Reception which allows you to relax after your travels and enjoy the company of other BearingNet members. This is then followed by 2 full days of BearingNetworking where you can meet your online business partners face to face as well as manufacturers and associates. The weekend is then wrapped up with a farewell dinner giving delegates the chance to join their business partners one last time and to celebrate a very successful weekend!

But don’t just take BearingNet’s word for it…

“In Rome I had meetings with over 35 companies. There is no other place I can meet his many distributors in 2 days! I was very busy and the meeting was extremely interesting!!” - Marcello Arbicone – General Supply di Bottai Barbara.

So save money, raise your profile and promote your company amongst the BearingNet community to build new partnerships as well as nurturing existing ones.

One location, one weekend – Don’t miss out!!

“We’ve done all the hard work, all you have to do is register!” - Nicola Beer
